He gets where she’s coming from, wanting him to be a bit more employed, but he’s saying just what many in the comments section said last week; it’s not like Lindsay has much more of a job. I liked that Carl put some numbers to show how much they’re making being “influencers.” Lindsay pulled down $150,000 the year before in paid post, and Carl netted $70,000 mostly because he’s a dude and has fewer followers (but not by a ton). I would guess they’re also both making around $200,000-$300,000 a season on the show. In fact, it is far more than the average American makes (though the average American is not paying New York City rent or has Carl’s tight-pants budget). Danielle Olivera first joined "Summer House" as a main cast member in Season 2, but she scaled back to "friend" status a few summers later to focus on her real-life career.

In the closing seconds of Part 2, a text that Carl sent to Andy flashed on the screen. In the final few minutes of the reunion, Lindsay acknowledged that she doesn't think that Danielle has "bad intentions" regarding her relationship with Carl. And while Carl and Lindsay wouldn't share who would be on their wedding guest list from the Summer House cast, both Lindsay and Danielle said they want to move forward. "I, of course, can understand why her feelings would be hurt," Lindsay said. "I would also want to be a part of any of my friends' big, monumentous [sic] milestone occasions."

"In my mind, I would have loved to have been the person to organize a lot of it. I would have loved to be the person to [be involved] in any way, shape, or form." Though Danielle and Lindsay weren't on the best of terms throughout the summer, the fashion app co-founder was still hurt when she learned that Carl had proposed to Lindsay without telling her. "I didn't reach out to Danielle. I wasn't sure that it was confirmed, to be honest..." Lindsay explained, adding that Danielle had been spending time in Aspen, which is where Robert works in the winter, so she wasn't sure if the two had gotten back together.

However, Olivera told PEOPLE that she believes Lindsay not prioritizing their friendship is what ended them. Carl tells Kyle that Lindsay wants him to “hustle” and make money, so she can be a stay-at-home mom, something they hadn’t previously talked about. Carl admits to his mom and stepdad that he’s afraid of Lindsay’s temper, and Carl’s stepdad advises him to reconsider getting married right now.
The thing about founders and CEOs is that a successful one would never call herself that. It’s like someone who calls themselves an entrepreneur because they sold an old Uniqlo top on DePop, or someone who is a curator because they organized a friend’s closet. After their conversation, Gabby gets those beer tears right out and sobs in the shower stall while calling her sister on the phone.
Gabby wants to be pursued, and that’s fine, but then she needs to not complain so much about how she doesn’t have a dude. If she’s going to go her usual route and maintain her high standards — which she should — it’s going to take a bit longer. I do agree with Danielle, however, that she didn’t seem so flirty with Joe the Balloon Guy, and she often comes across as closed off.
