As the family leaves for home, Morag proceeds to make herself the new duchess of the town much to the displeasure of villagers. Angus then shows the family members a painting of their ancestors that bears a striking resemblance to them and reveals they ruled the town for many years before sailing away forever. Lincoln eventually learns from Angus that his own ancestral counterpart, the Duke of the family, was the most special member of the family, much to his delight. Suddenly, Lincoln witnesses Lily approaching, and proceeds to stall Morag by telling her that he's actually a talented magician, as he begins showing off some of his magic tricks. Morag, after lamenting that all she ever wanted was peace and quiet, reaches her wit's end and proceeds to fight the crown out of Lincoln's hands. However, during their scuffle, the three accidentally fall off the cliff, about to plunge into the waters below them. As Lincoln and Lily embrace themselves for impact, Lela swiftly catches them (on her back) and Morag (with her claws) and flies them back at the castle, where the Louds and Angus witness their arrival. As the Louds enter the Scottish town, they ask a nearby fisherman on where they can find Loud relatives, and the fisherman responds by running away while frantically saying their last name, much to their bewilderment. As they venture around the town, they discover other oddities, like a door built much higher than the sidewalk, the signs being too jumbled to be comprehended, and the bell tower using a small bell instead of a giant one.
As she cleans, she begins to lament to a portrait of her ancestor, Aggie, who was responsible for driving the Louds' ancestors away 400 years ago in order to achieve peace and quiet. As Morag continues to suffer from the kids' shenanigans (while also reminding herself it's only for one week), Lincoln announces to Angus his plans on becoming the duke. However, Morag ruins the moment by revealing that Lincoln is only staying in Scotland for a week, causing the citizens to believe they celebrated with a tourist and not a permanent resident. At Angus' suggestion, Lincoln tries to convince his family that they should move to Scotland. Using a slideshow presentation, Lincoln explains that moving to Scotland is a good thing as they found themselves and their culture here, and that if they stay, they can get all the fame and adoration they want. Lynn Sr. immediately approves of this decision, but the girls are unconvinced, mainly because they know that Lincoln only wants this to be in a position of power, and because they have lives in Royal Woods regarding their friends and school.
Morag pretends that she doesn't know anything regarding their past, and hides Aggie's journal from their sight, but the two spooky girls state that they'll still keep their eyes on her. She commends Luna for her musical ability and tells her that the females of her ancestors were highly beloved because of their quirks and talents. She goes on and says that she and her other sisters should present their talents to the citizens of Loch Loud so they can let their true selves be known to the public. Meanwhile, in Lincoln's room, Lincoln and Lily are showing Angus a magic trick where they swap the crown with a breakfast burrito. Once they complete the trick, Angus asks Lincoln if he's ready for his royal duties today.
Soon after, a full-blown coronation is held for Lincoln officially becoming the new duke. During the ceremony, however, Morag is noticeably reluctant to crown Lincoln, and Lucille, observing from above, is baffled when Morag mentions that the royal family from 400 years ago got lost during a boat trip. When they go there, they realize that said ancestors were also royalty and the family takes the opportunity to indulge themselves in the royal life with Lincoln being crowned Duke. Little do the Louds know is that the castle’s caretaker Morag is planning against them. Upon arrival, the Louds discover their ancestral home is a castle – and the whole town is named for them. Lincoln dedicates himself to making the town a better place in an effort to have himself coronated as the duke, and even tries to convince his family to move to Scotland.
Before long, the citizens begin to converge on the Louds, and one of the citizens asks them if they're really Louds, to which the family agrees. This causes the citizen to tell them that they're in the town of Loch Loud, which is named after their ancestors some 400 years ago. After he and the rest of the citizens explain their history ("This Town Is Named for You"), he guides them to the castle where their ancestors once lived. Once they arrive, the citizen introduces himself as Angus, the Loch Loud groundskeeper, and once they enter the castle, they meet Morag, the castle's caretaker.
